Congratulations to Melissa Mallon and Melanie Maksin, who were judged the winners of the 2017 Best Book Proposal contest! The contest was sponsored by the Beta Phi Mu Scholars Series in collaboration with our publishing partner, Rowman & Littlefield. Mallon and Maksin share the $250 prize for their book proposal titled Partners in Teaching & Learning: Coordinating a Successful Academic Library Instruction Program. Scholars Series Editor Andrea Falcone is currently working with these authors to further develop their proposal, with an eye toward publication in the Scholars Series.
