Description

The Reed scholarship is awarded annually to a student beginning library/information studies in an ALA accredited program.

Requirements:

1. Applicant must have been admitted to a graduate program in Library and Information Studies accredited by the American Library Association and have completed no more than 12 credits by the application deadline.
2. One page autobiography. Applicants are judged upon several factors but the autobiographical piece is of prime importance.
3. Up-to-date transcripts from all institutions of higher learning.
4. Three letters of recommendation from academic instructors, employers, and/or supervisors of paid or volunteer work experience.
5. Current Resume or Vita.

NOTE: All required documents must be submitted online.

Amount Awarded:
$2,250 each

Number of Awards:
Up to ONE award will be granted in 2025
