The Beta Phi Mu Executive Board of Directors invites nominations for the prestigious Beta Phi Mu Distinguished Member Award. This award acknowledges outstanding contributions to Library and Information Science made by a member annually. Eligible candidates are members who have rendered exceptional service to the profession, either as a committee or networking group member or chair. These individuals exhibit remarkable leadership and organizational skills and epitomize a spirit of service towards the profession. The recipient of the award will be announced before the ALA Annual Meeting and will be celebrated during the event.
NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Nominee must be a Beta Phi Mu member in good standing.
• Self-nominations are acceptable.
• Nominations made by others should have prior approval from the nominee.

The nomination letter must include:

• Nominee contact information (name, email address, phone number)
• Bio sketch and CV for nominee
• Statement of qualifications describing why the positions and activities outlined in the sketch and CV qualify the nominee for a particular honor (maximum 500 words)
• Your name and contact information, including email.
