Beta Phi Mu at ALA Annual 2018 in New Orleans!

Beta Phi Mu's Annual Business Meeting and Member Reception took place in conjunction with the American Library Association Annual Conference in New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 4:00-6:00pm at the Le Meridien.
We conducted Honor Society business and provided networking opportunities, held an initiation of new members, and had a special celebration of our 70th Anniversary. Past Beta Phi Mu Award winners and past Beta Phi Mu Presidents were recognized and Dr. Em Claire Knowles of Simmons gave the keynote address. Read the full text of that address here. |
