Beta Phi Mu at ALA Annual 2019 in Washington, D.C.!

Beta Phi Mu's Annual Business Meeting and Member Reception took place in conjunction with the American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm, Marriott Marquis, Salon 12.
We conducted Honor Society business and provided networking opportunities, held an initiation of new members, and had a special discussion about Beta Phi Mu's future. The Beta Phi Mu Award was presented at the ALA President's Awards Ceremony on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 3:00-3:30pm at the Washington Convention Center, Ballroom B/C. This year we are happy to announce that the Beta Phi Mu Award was presented to Dr. Mirah J. Dow of Emporia State University! |
