Since 1948, Beta Phi Mu has been recognizing the scholastic achievement and leadership potential of Library and Information Studies graduates, and fostering the values of scholarship, leadership, and service in our members. We are an Affiliate of the American Library Association (ALA) and a certified member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS).
Beta Phi Mu members are encouraged to become Sustaining Members of our organization -- committing to make a donation of at least $10/year for Regular Members and $20/year for Professional Members. Or better yet, commit to making a monthly donation!
