Editor Soughtfor Beta Phi Mu's newsletter, The Pipeline
Beta Phi Mu is seeking a volunteer newsletter editor for its twice-yearly electronic newsletter, The Pipeline. Duties include:
- Work with Beta Phi Mu headquarters staff to solicit and gather chapter news, officer reports, news items, and other content for the newsletter
- Integrate photographs and graphics
- Layout newsletters in a desktop publishing format to upload via the BPM website
- Initiate additional content ideas and creative design solutions
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as with others
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Desktop publishing experience
- Digital photo editing experience
- Creative design skills
- A letter of interest, outlining your qualifications and reasons for seeking the appointment
- A resume or CV
- A writing sample
- Examples of previous newsletter or layout work (optional)
